Tour Itinirary

Day 1 Delhi to Shimla (380 kms / 8-9 hrs)

Today as per your arrival time Delhi Airport / Railway station, you will be welcomed by the Incredible India Safari representative who will further accompany you to Shimla on a road drive that is interesting as you will encounter the best insights of nature with the best soothing environs surrounding. Soon after you arrive in Shimla, you will be dropped at the hotel where you check-in and stay overnight!

Day 2 Shimla - Sarahan (165 kms / 7 hrs)

After breakfast at hotel we will set off at around 9:00 A.M. Today it is a drive of 8-9 hrs. driving through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda and Rampur. En route we will have many comfort breaks and will visit the Apple orchards and Hattu peak (3,400 metres/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also visit the traditional wooden carved temple of Godess Kali on the top. We will also stop by a small lake on the way to Hattu Peak. Later on we continue our drive to Sarahan via Rampur and enroute we will stop for lunch break and various picture breaks and comfort breaks. Sarahan – the tiny village offers the splendid views of Shrikhanda Mahadev Peak (5,155 metres). The major attraction in Sarahan is centuries-old Hindu temple of Godess Bhimakali. Steeped in legend, the temple complex is a resplendent example of hill architecture. Sarahan is also the gateway to Kinnaur valley. Overnight stay in Hotel in Sarahan.

Day 3 Sarahan to Sangla (90 kms / 5 hrs)

Sarahan is 2744 meters above the sea level. Participate in morning Aarti at Bhimakali Temple. After breakfast, check-out from your Hotel and depart for Sangla via Karcham. Your journey from here will take you to another spectacular destination in the middle Himalayas which is also known as Baspa valley – the prettiest valley in Himachal. Arrive at Sangla & check-in to your Hotel. After a delicious dinner, sleep comfortably overnight at Sangla.

Day 4 Sangla - Chitkul - Sangla (40 kms / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam. After lunch, leave for an excursion to Chitkul the last Village on old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Walk through the green orchards, by a brilliant stream. As the day falls, return to your hotel in Sangla for dinner and overnight stay at Sangla.

Day 5 Sangla to Kalpa (49 kms / 4 hrs)

After breakfast this morning, check-out from your hotel and drive to Kalpa. 2670 meters above the sea level, Kalpa is the district headquarter of Kinnaur and was once the favorite getaway of Lord Dalhousie. On reaching Kalpa, check-in to your Hotel. Once known as Chini, little has changed in Kalpa in the last 500 years. Legend has it that when Lord Dalhousie wanted to take a break from his hectic schedule in Shimla, he would come here on his Horseback. By the side of Kalpa is a 79-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivling that changes the color as the day passes and is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. After lunch, rest in your hotel for a while. In the evening, visit the Buddhist Gompa - Hu Bu Lan Kar. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Kalpa.

Day 6 Kalpa Sightseeing and drive to Shimla (220 kms / 07-08 hrs)

Early morning, enjoy the Sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks. Kalpa is famous for its apples & chilgoza plantations. The tree belongs to the Pine Family & the fruit is in about an inch long, in soft cover. After breakfast, visit the Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has Shrines of Hindu, Buddhist and local Deities and excursion trip to Roghi Village to get closer to the 'Pahari' way of Life as you mingle with the locals and then shall leave for Shimla, Dinner and overnight stay at Shimla.

Day 7 Shimla to Delhi (380 kms / 8-9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Delhi and further to Delhi Airport get dropped for your onward journey to the way back home with the beautiful Tribal Tour of Himachal Pradesh

Please Note: You can start this tour from Chandigarh and end also in Chandigarh (Chandigarh to Shimla distance just 120 kms and 4 hrs Journey by Cab).
